HI>Dance intends to bring to Valle D'Aosta a view on the contemporary performing arts scene.
An international programme that focuses on new languages and technologies, with a special attention towards the new generations of artists; HI>Dance aims to build a real community of artists and spectators based on the sharing of tools, ideas, world views.
The core of the festival will be the concept of technology: technology of the communication, of the stage and of social relationships.
The programme will be last step of a journey that aims at creating a real connection between citizens, artists and the Valle d’Aosta region, intended as a complex system of associations, institutions, schools and people, which also includes cross-border communities.
The first edition of the festival began from an idea by Francesca Fini e DanzaSì, a magazine dedicated to the divulgation of dance culture, and took place in Rome. This second edition in Aosta is jointly directed by Marco Chenevier and Francesca Fini, with the organizational team of TiDA-Théâtre Danse.
